at a flick of the sliding the door open u no its on and ready to shoot sometinmes its not good for indoors i try to stick to bright places and also its small like a mobile sometimes i hold it to my ear and pretend im talking into it and take pics, i do this alot down the beach. people think im just on the phone. its also cheap. $200 australiaN , THERE IS ALSO ONES THAT GO UNDER WATER
